Gli Afterhours sono attualmente una delle band più influenti del rock alternativo in Italia, con un suono diretto, a volte melodico o punk, con ispirazioni noise, psichedeliche, post-punk e post-grunge, con liriche anarchiche, a volte sarcastiche, beffarde, e sensuali.
